Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Are you passionate about logistics and efficiency? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for the Shopfloor Logistics Supervisor position at Faurecia, a global leader in automotive technology.
As the Shopfloor Logistics Supervisor, you will manage the internal flow of pieces from receipt to shipping, ensuring customer delivery, production line supplies, logistics basics, visual management, equipment and human resources, productivity gains, and team management. You will collaborate closely with quality, production, and engineering functions to ensure smooth plant operations.
Main responsibilities include:
- Develop and monitor QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) indicators.
- Provide training and motivate teams to improve performance (QRCI, 5S, etc.).
- Set objectives with shift supervisors and Plant PC&L Manager for various KPIs: scrap, MPMs, PDP achievement, absenteeism, accidents, improvement ideas.
- Track and report performance data at shift end.
- Manage resources, including recruitment needs.
- React promptly to problems with containment, support, and action plans.
- Ensure quality standards and procedures are followed to satisfy clients.
- Participate in Pull System/Kanban deployment.
- Propose process optimization solutions.
People Management:
- Manage daily operations: presence on shop floor, team contact.
- Plan shift changes, absenteeism, holidays, overtime.
- Coach team members and leaders.
- Support operators with interpersonal and operational issues.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and standards compliance.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding.
- Develop training plans and manage appraisals.
- Oversee operator polyvalence and training progress.
Health, Safety, Environment, and Work Conditions:
- Stop logistics processes immediately if safety risks are identified.
- Lead HSE core team and implement action plans.
- Improve working conditions and ergonomics.
- Ensure outsourced partners comply with procedures.
- Audit external providers.
- Manage waste, empty containers, and recycling materials.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education: Bachelor or Master in Management or Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical).
Experience: At least 1 year in an industrial environment preferred.
Skills and competencies:
- Good command of English
- Work standardization
- Team management
- Ergonomics, safety, and environment awareness
- Knowledge of 7 Delivery and Inventory Basics
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP
