In this role, you will take a leading position in our maintenance operations—guiding the team, coordinating activities, and ensuring our equipment runs safely, efficiently, and at its best. Your leadership will help us maintain high production standards, drive continuous improvement, and secure reliable performance across the unit.Your activitiesLead and coordinate all maintenance operations, ensuring smooth execution across the facility.Guide and support a team of maintenance technicians, fostering strong performance and collaboration.Validate preventive maintenance plans and authorize corrective interventions, including improvement actions required to optimize reliability.Ensure all maintenance tasks are executed on time and according to safety and quality standards.Collaborate closely with the Production Department to analyze root causes and implement effective, long‐lasting solutions.Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical production processes.Perform functional analyses of machines and devices during their approval and commissioning phases.Work in partnership with cross‐functional technical teams to ensure alignment and efficient problem‐solving.What You Need To Be Successful In This RoleBSc/MSc in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering preferred (other Engineering might be considered).Solid leadership experience.Good knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical industrial maintenance.Good command of English.Excellent interpersonal skills, such as communication and negotiation, team working and proactivity.Strong team and project leadership skills.Analytical thinking, methodical ways of working and motivation to join a fast‐pace and demanding working environment.You will be a part of a highly motivated and skillful team who will onboard and support your journey at Valmet; together you will move our customers' performance forward and make a difference in our company, contributing to the positive development of our product and business.
