Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Construction Management and Supervision Department by recruiting a Mechanical Site Supervisor, to support Data Center Project, based in Sines.
With national and international projects of high technical complexity, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the engineering and construction market, particularly within mission-critical infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards
Monitor subcontractors' activities related to HVAC, piping, fire protection, and other mechanical systems
Ensure works are executed according to schedule, quality, safety, and cost requirements
Coordinate daily site activities with other disciplines (civil, electrical, commissioning)
Review method statements, technical submittals, and equipment / material approvals
Participate in site meetings with the client, consultants, and internal teams
Identify and report deviations, technical issues, and risks, proposing corrective actions
Ensure compliance with HSE rules and promote a strong safety culture on site
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities
Profile:
Background in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (mandatory
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (highly valued)
Professional experience in a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role; experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or other large-scale projects is a strong advantage
Solid knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, fire protection, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
High-level of responsibility, autonomy, and problem-solving skills
Availability to work on site (mandatory)
