FourFive Partners is proud to be supporting a leading European general contractor with a strong track record delivering high-value, mission‐critical projects across the continent.The business is currently constructing a major hyperscale data centre in Sines, Portugal and is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the project delivery team during a key phase of construction.Role OverviewThe Electrical Supervisor will oversee the execution of electrical installation works across the designated project areas, ensuring they are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications and industry standards. This role is critical to maintaining progress on one of Europe's largest mission‐critical developments.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Installation Oversight- Supervise and manage day-to-day electrical installation works, including LV, MV, and HV systems, containment, earthing, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and distribution networks. - Monitor subcontractor productivity, ensuring works are delivered to schedule and to required quality standards. - Verify that all electrical activities comply with design documentation, technical specifications, and European electrical regulations.Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance- Carry out frequent inspections, ensuring installation issues are identified early and rectified promptly. - Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain comprehensive documentation and support testing and commissioning activities. - Review technical drawings, redlines, method statements, and risk assessments.Health, Safety & Environmental- Promote a strong safety culture on site, ensuring all electrical works follow HSE regulations and the project's safety policies. - Lead toolbox talks, site audits, and enforce safe working practices at all times.Coordination & Communication- Liaise with project engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and alignment across disciplines. - Escalate technical or design-related issues and participate in solution-driven discussions. - Attend daily coordination and progress meetings.Documentation & Reporting- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation required for quality and handover. - Assist in preparing commissioning packs and final project documentation.Experience- 5+ years of experience supervising electrical works on large-scale construction or industrial projects. - Strong preference for experience on data centres, pharmaceutical plants, semiconductor facilities, hyperscale tech sites, or other mission‐critical builds. - Proven background working with MV/HV distribution, critical power systems, UPS, and generators.Qualifications- Degree, diploma, or certified trade background in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation. - Relevant safety certifications are advantageous. - EU work rights preferred; relocation assistance may be provided.
