**Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor**
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all housekeeping functions on board our ships. This position is responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff and overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of various areas, including accommodation, public, crew, and pool areas.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a supervisor in a large hotel or hospitality industry setting, with a proven track record of leading a team of at least 10 employees. They will possess a strong understanding of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures, as well as working knowledge of computer systems and software packages such as Excel and Word.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager to ensure that divisional objectives are met and day-to-day operations are maintained to the highest standard. They will also be expected to provide exceptional service to guests and colleagues, adhering to Royal Caribbean International's Royal Way principles of professionalism and courtesy.
Hiring Requirements:
* Minimum one year Housekeeping Supervisory experience in a large 4- or 5-star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line, or hospitality industry related field
* Demonstrated experience supervising a team of minimum 10 employees
* Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety-related procedures
* Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and ability to navigate within a variety of software packages
Language Requirements:
* Good knowledge of the English language required
