Mechanical Project Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Lead to join our team in Portugal.
* Lead a team of Mechanical Project Managers/Engineers
* Propose suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
* Display commercial astuteness
* Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
* Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
* Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
* Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
* Oversee highest quality of health and safety
Key Responsibilities:
* To lead and manage the project team
* To develop and implement project plans, budgets and schedules
* To monitor and control project progress, identifying and reporting on any variances or issues
* To maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates
* To manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
* To identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities
Requirements:
* Bachelors' degree in Engineering or relevant area
* Strong knowledge of procurement
* Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
* Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
* Experience in the delivery in Data Center MEP projects
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
