YOUR ROLE
As an
Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer / Supervisor
, you will contribute to refinery and petrochemical projects by supporting
engineering activities, field execution, or both
, depending on your experience. The role covers I&C design documentation, technical reviews, and/or site supervision of installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
You can expect to work closely with engineering teams, contractors, automation specialists, and commissioning teams, ensuring that instrumentation systems are designed and executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable standards and procedures. This is a role well suited to professionals who enjoy either detailed technical work, hands-on site supervision, or a hybrid profile bridging both worlds.
What you can expect in the role:
Preparation and review of I&C documentation (datasheets, loop diagrams, hook-ups)
Review of vendor packages and technical deliverables
Understanding and coordination around
DCS / PLC architectures
Site supervision of instrumentation installation, wiring, calibration, loop checks, and testing
Coordination with contractors and permit-to-work management (for supervision profiles)
Support to pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
Verification of compliance with specifications, quality plans, and safety requirements
YOUR PROFILE
Academic background in
Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or Electromechanical Engineering
2+ years of experience
in instrumentation and control roles within refinery, petrochemical, or industrial facilities
Experience in
I&C engineering documentation and/or site supervision
Good understanding of
control systems (DCS/PLC)
and field instrumentation
Ability to review technical documentation and vendor packages
Strong safety awareness, structured working approach, and good coordination skills
