The successful candidate will be working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair.At the facility in Porto, we are responsible for conducting extensive line maintenance checks on Ryanair's fleet of Boeing 737-800 / 8200 aircraft.Ryanair is Europe's favourite airline, carrying 160m p.A.
on more than 3,000 daily flights from 85 bases, connecting over 225 destinations in 33 countries on a fleet of over 520 modern Boeing 737NG, Boeing 737-8200 Game Changer and Airbus A320 aircraft and will continue to expand by more than 200 aircraft by 2025.

We believe in flat hierarchies, a diverse and equal company culture, and investing in learning & development.Role:Lead, supervise, and coordinate the Sheet Metal Workers team, ensuring all structural repairs are performed efficiently and in compliance with approved maintenance manuals and regulatory standards.Oversee and approve repairs on aircraft and components within Ryanair's fleet, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering specifications.Assist in preparing deployments to recover AOG aircraft from structural damages.Analyse and implement effective repair solutions following Maintenance Repair Manuals (MRM) and manufacturer guidelines.Review and complete technical documentation and maintenance records for accuracy and compliance.Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, regulations, and MOE (Maintenance Organization Exposition).Promote and maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing Health & Safety protocols.Mentor and support team members, ensuring continuous professional development.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory authorities and company MOE.Certify completed work in line with MOE and company procedures.Requirements:EASA Part 66 B1 License and/or Degree in Aircraft Engineering/Maintenance.Extensive experience in aircraft structural repairs and sheet metal work.Proven leadership in overseeing structural repair teams and managing performance in aviation environments.Expertise in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and advanced repair techniques.Knowledge and experience in composite repairs (preferred).Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.Practical experience with specialized tools and equipment.In-depth technical knowledge with a proven track record in diagnosing and implementing repair solutions.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong organizational and time-management skills
