Job Purpose The goal of theAllocation Manageris to help navigate the global electronic components supply crisis working closely with all relevant PDS plants and constrained suppliers to distribute material in the most efficient and fair manner. The role also supports escalation processes with suppliers and eventually customers, gaining exposure to higher levels of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesHosting periodic (daily, weekly, bi‐weekly) allocation meetings with PDS plants and suppliersPreparing supply reports to support the reviewsAnalysing waterfalls to generate fair allocation proposalsDrive escalation processes with suppliersSupport customer escalation processes providing summaries, PowerPoint slides, and relevant informationDrive component sharing activities between plants, both for shortages and excess scenariosSupport special projects such as risk mitigation, automation and other strategic initiativesWhat we're looking forExcellent verbal and written communication skills to work in a global environmentProficiency with computer tools SAP & MS Excel requiredPC&L or Purchasing experience preferredUnderstanding of electronics manufacturing process preferredExperience with AI/automation preferredSafety This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires.
