We are seeking an accomplished senior engineer with extensive experience in aeronautical structures design and development to lead our team. As Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, and delivery of complex aerospace components using steel and composite materials.

You will utilize advanced CAD tools to create detailed designs, ensuring compliance with manufacturing and certification standards. Your expertise will directly impact the structural integrity and buildability of critical aerospace components.
\
Main Responsibilities:
\
* Design and modeling of primary and secondary aircraft structures using steel and composite materials
* Ensure manufacturability, tolerancing, and design compliance with aerospace standards
* Collaborate with stress engineers, manufacturing teams, and certification engineers
* Create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation
* Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement in design methodologies
* Deliver designs in alignment with project schedules and quality targets

Requirements:
\
For this role, we require:
\
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or a qualified CAD Design Technician
* 20+ years of senior-level experience in the design of aeronautical structures
* Deep expertise in steel and composite structural design, manufacturing methods, and tolerancing
* Fluency in English (mandatory); Spanish and Portuguese are highly valued

Mandatory Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess:

* Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM
* Strong understanding of aerospace design standards, GD&T, and design-for-manufacture principles
* Proven collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in aerospace development projects

Candidates with experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 aerospace suppliers and familiarity with configuration management and PLM systems will have a competitive advantage.
