A Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in overseeing the hotel's sales and marketing strategies, driving growth through targeted efforts, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the hotel remains competitive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to align with business objectives, focusing on all market segments.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, driving revenue growth through local travel and account development.
* Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients, ensuring optimal pricing and conditions.
* Monitor repeat bookings for groups, congresses, and seminars, working closely with the Group Coordinator to optimize offers and discounts.
* Design and execute creative local marketing campaigns, leveraging social media and contributing to company-wide initiatives.
* Manage contracts and ensure compliance with business conditions, while providing detailed information about the hotel's products and services through relevant sales channels.
* Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to identify areas requiring additional support, drive focused activities, and develop comprehensive sales programs.
* Lead the forecasting process, compiling and directing the preparation of operational reports for the Sales Department, including forecasts, lead management, and booking reports.
* Participate in the creation of the annual Sales and Marketing Plan, quarterly updates, and hotel budgets, implementing strategies to address market shifts and economic changes.
* Attend and organize sales events, group meetings, and commercial activities, fostering strong relationships with other departments.
* Recruit, manage, train, and develop the Sales team through leadership and example, ensuring their future success.
