Legal Assistant Role
This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the legal department by providing comprehensive assistance in preparing, reviewing, and managing corporate legal documents.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support legal counsel in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining corporate legal documents across various topics.
* Translate legal documents to meet the needs of the legal team.
* Draft minutes for important meetings such as shareholder resolutions and board meetings.
* Handle employee document legalization meticulously.
* Manage legal publications and ensure timely follow-ups.
* Assist with filing and publication requirements for entities.
* Provide support in formulating legal replies for teams.
* Participate in entity liquidation or closure processes ensuring all legal requirements are met.
Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor's degree in Law, paralegal studies an asset.
* At least 3 years of experience;
* Fluent English; good French knowledge a plus.
* Strong communication skills.
* Organized with attention to detail.
* Effective, proactive mindset;
