Your opportunity
Sidel is looking for a Product Support Automation Expert who will be focused on CCF (conveyors and cap feeder) and AQFlex (bottles accumulation system). The resource will be part of the Regional Product Support Back Office Team and will be based in Santa Maria De Feira. Being part of the RPS ECA (Regional Product Support Europe & Central Asia) is a great opportunity to work close to Sidel's products and to customers by working on both new equipments and on the installed base (I.e. improvements, evolutions, support of the services activities). Issue resolution is also one essential part of RPS mission.
Your Mission
The job takesplace mainly in the office but also with few missions at customers' site. In bothsituations the resource has to:
1. secure the operational follow up & technicalsupport (on automation side) of all CCFand AQFlex product throughout the whole life of the machines installed in the ECA region
2. secure that the population of colleagues (mainly FSE, ISM, PM, CCM) in contactwith the customer are well supported through email, tickets, telephone andonsite missions
3. secure the preparation andthe distribution of the appropriate documentation concerning thetroubleshooting of automation issues to customers and to FSE and communicatewith central product support about identified issues and Non Conformities.
4. execute automation RCA following issue resolution process, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions, interacting with the other departments.
Your Profile
5. Master or Bachelor Degree, or equivalent
6. English spoken and written a good level of Italian/French an advantage for your best local integration.
7. At least 3 years of technical assistance, field experience or engineering in packaging equipments (automation side)
8. Electrical fundaments (safety equipments, sensors, motion, servo drivers, inverters…)
9. Knowledge of PLC platform (specific knowledge of Siemens S7 SCL-Graph-Awl, B&R, Rockwell Automation is a plus)
10. Knowledge of HMI (specific knowledge of ZenOn, Citec and/or InTouch is a plus) and Motion platforms (specific knowledge of Danfoss, Schneider, B&R is a plus)
11. Application of Root Cause analysis methodology for issue resolution
12. Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
