Our Opportunity
We are looking to grow our team with an Electronics Engineer based in Charneca de Caparica, Portugal, who is passionate about technology and eager to develop skills in firmware development and hardware design.
Position overview
You will be part of a young, international, and diverse team – with expertise in chemistry, materials science, printing, electronics, business development, and sales & marketing. This is a great opportunity to explore different areas of Printed Electronics and Embedded Systems.
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be involved in the design, prototyping, validation, and integration of electronic systems driving Ynvisible’s printed e-paper displays. Your work will include tasks such as:

2. Firmware development in C / C++ for microcontrollers and low-power devices
3. Integration of Ynvisible’s printed e-paper displays into demonstrators, prototypes, and end-user products (e.g., IoT devices, smart labels, signs, wearables)
4. Design of test and control tools for internal development and production environments
5. PCB design (schematic capture, layout), assembly, and debugging – from prototype to production
6. Development and documentation of electronics-related processes, including test and characterization protocols
7. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define electronics requirements and ensure seamless system integration
8. Development of scripts and tools (mainly in Python) for data acquisition, analysis, and visualization
9. Support in the development of technical documentation (datasheets, manuals, guidelines)
