Experience Required
* Degree in marketing, international business, or a related field, or equivalent proven professional experience
* 3+ years of working experience in brand, trade, consumer marketing and/or execution of store concepts (experience in category management project is an advance)
* Knowledge of key marketing principles, strategies, and best practices
* Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at the same time, to deliver results on budget & time
* Experience in managing strategic and operational channel plans, including budget
* Experience in evaluating and managing channel performance in a market by using KPIs (ex. market share, brand awareness)
* Good product knowledge and a firm understanding of the painting/construction industry is an advantage but not a must
* Excellent negotiation skills
Strategic Accountabilities
* Local Channel, Trade, Shopper Marketing Activations
* Partner, support and work with the brand managers B2C/B2B to:
* deliver 360-degree activations where relevant and own any tailored creative briefs by engaging with relevant agencies where required to deliver tailored channel content/materials
* gain greater understanding of Shoppers and Consumers and analyse trends to scope, recommend, execute and track channel and customer plans in terms of assortment, distribution, product, price and promotion
* Prepare, control and implement Channel Marketing Plans in collaboration with respective sales managers in line with brand plans to achieve financial and business objectives by proposing clear guidelines about perfect assortment, in store execution, promotional calendar, incentive programs and omnichannel activations
* Define opportunities of category management implementations in retail / DIY aligned with Emea strategy and follow up overall strategy and tracking of initiatives
* Ensure proposed activation plans align to brand communication and NPD objectives across the relevant touch points of each customer's journey including promotions and NPD to influence behaviour and conversion
* Working with the Brand Managers and Digital Marketing specialist, to ensure our brands are visible on all channels
* Execute trade fairs and local events
* Budget & Team Responsibilities
* Regularly monitor the external market to identify trends and growth opportunities and to build an in-depth knowledge that contributes towards the budget planning process
* Producing the required activation trackers, evaluate return on investment and recommend improvements
* Manage the A&P budget for areas of responsibility
* Identify opportunities for, and implement sharing of, best practice across the wider marketing team
* Work closely with Sales and Retailers to optimize our store presence and first point of contact for stores/retailers
* VIP Store Concept in TRADE and Channel Marketing Management
* Together with Brand Manager, analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth
* Map out a clear picture of the customer journey (B2B/B2C) and the ideal, most profitable journey path to ensure profitability of the designed store experiences
* Responsible for the development, implementation, and optimisation of an integrated marketing program to deliver the organizations' business goals for VIP customers in trade
* Ensure activations of activities for B2B target audiences, following yearly plan
