We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients on-site, resolving hardware, software, and network issues. You will install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems using analytical and problem-solving skills, train and educate clients on how to use new technologies and software, document technical issues and solutions for future reference, and maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft desktop operating system and Windows application deployment, configuration, and management. They should also have knowledge of Windows Client Administration, including build and installation of PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices. The ability to identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems is also essential.
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent time management skills. They should be proactive and passionate about End User Computing (EUC), with a proven track record of working with technologies from Microsoft Intune (Autopilot), SCCM, VMWare Horizon, Intune etc.
The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with Technology teams, and ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in End to End Desktop/Laptop life cycle management and a desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Responsibilities:
* Experience with Microsoft desktop operating system and Windows application deployment, configuration, and management.
* Windows Client Administration.
* Build and installation of PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices.
* Maintenance of installed PCs, networks, telephone systems, and peripherals with routine maintenance.
* Identification, logging, and resolution of technical problems with software applications or network systems.
* Presentation of potential changes and system improvements to Technical teams for consideration and implementation.
* Collaboration with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.
* Administration and resolution of issues with associated end-user workstation network software products.
* Response to incoming calls, messages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems.
* Basic experience in supporting networks devices and servers in business environments.
* Proactive and passionate about EUC, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills.
* Strong capabilities in Windows 10 / Windows 11 support, migration & Deployment.
* Liaison with third-party support and PC equipment vendors if necessary.
* Performance of related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
* Hands-on experience in End to End Desktop/Laptop life cycle management.
