Job Title: Mechanical Engineer for Space Systems
This role involves performing precise assembly, integration, and testing of satellite subsystems and components in a cleanroom environment. You will prepare essential materials and equipment for environmental testing (EVT) and launch campaigns.
* Prepare mechanical integration/setup procedures and conduct the activity in ISO5 or ISO7 cleanroom or laboratory environments.
* Generate reports for activities and support failure investigations.
* Set up and organize materials, equipment, and tools required for various in-house functional and environmental tests.
* Ensure readiness and compliance with test standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in hands-on mechanical integration roles for space missions.
* Proficiency with integration tools for mechanical and thermal operations within space/aerospace sectors.
* Experience in satellite AIV in specific Environmental Test Campaigns, Launch Campaigns, and satellite transports is considered an added value.
* Knowledge and experience with GSE (Ground Support Equipment).

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
* Document execution of activity, procedure deviation, and occurrences (NCR).
* Contribute to integration and test reports.
* Maintain up-to-date digital records of integration statuses (logbooks).
* Prepare and support technical meetings.
* Contribute to adherence to configuration management processes.
* Support the identification, design, manufacturing, and/or procurement of MGSEs, test utilities, and any type of equipment or harness required.
* Follow and support the standard tools and processes established in the frame of Assembly, Integration, and Test.
