We are seeking a skilled and experienced COBOL developer to join our team. As a COBOL developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality COBOL applications in compliance with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop COBOL applications that meet or exceed customer expectations
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define project requirements
* Perform code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software delivery
* Utilize Pacbase tools to enhance application performance and functionality
* Document technical specifications and processes for ongoing maintenance and future development
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in COBOL development
* Proficiency in Pacbase and experience with related tools and frameworks
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
* French language skills
