Your New Mission As the technical reference for the Snowflake PAM platform, you will drive the strategic evolution, adoption and operational excellence of the Snowflake ecosystem across the organization. Your mission spans three core pillars: Strategic Leadership Evaluate the Snowflake platform end-to-end and propose improvements and strategic recommendations. Optimize platform costs, particularly regarding third-party integrations (e.g., Vermillion). Lead the implementation and internal promotion of AI initiatives leveraging the Snowflake platform. Support the definition and execution of a Snowflake Disaster Recovery plan. Support, Enablement & Internal Advocacy Onboard new business teams to Snowflake, ensuring proper setup, support, and integration into best practices. Support database migration initiatives, including Oracle-to-Snowflake migrations. Act as an internal Snowflake Ambassador, promoting adoption and sharing best practices. Serve as the main technical point of contact for Product teams working on Snowflake. Actively contribute to the Snowflake Data Engineering Chapter, fostering knowledge-sharing and platform excellence. Daily Operations & Platform Administration Manage the daily administration of the platform, including access management, schema management, and operational governance. Ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance of the Snowflake environment. What You Need to Succeed Technical Expertise Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, performance optimization, security and governance. Familiarity with third-party integrations related to Snowflake (e.g., Vermillion). Solid understanding of scalable Data Engineering principles and modern data architectures. Experience supporting database migrations, ideally Oracle ? Snowflake. Strategic & Analytical Mindset Ability to evaluate a large-scale data platform holistically and propose targeted improvements. Cost-awareness and capability to identify optimization opportunities. Curiosity and forward-thinking approach to applying AI and automation within the Snowflake ecosystem. Communication, Enablement & Influence Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders. Passion for empowering teams, promoting best practices and driving organization-wide adoption. Strong ambassadorial presence: capable of influencing, educating, and advocating for Snowflake across the business. Operational Discipline Hands-on experience managing daily platform operations, including access, security, and schema governance.
