In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We are looking for a Software Developer to work in a project in Porto (hybrid).
Key Responsibilities
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
* Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them using OpenAPI standards.
* Engage with event-driven architecture concepts, with exposure to Kafka beneficial.
* Conduct and improve unit testing processes.
* Use GIT effectively for version control and collaboration.
* Support the implementation of observability tools; familiarity with OpenTelemetry beneficial.
Qualifications
* Solid understanding of software engineering principles including Clean Code, SOLID, and basic Domain Driven Design concepts.
* Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs with OpenAPI.
* Familiarity with event-driven architecture, with Kafka experience preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency with GIT and unit testing methodologies.
* Exposure to observability practices; knowledge of OpenTelemetry is advantageous.
* Java and Quarkus experience is a huge plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and effective collaboration in a team environment.
* English: B2
