AI Team Lead (Remote)
Our client is looking for an experiencedAI Team Leadto spearhead the design and implementation of next-generation AI services within a SaaS environment.
This professional will guide a multidisciplinary team to architect and deploy intelligent, data-driven solutions that enhance user experience and deliver real business impact.
Your Mission
AI Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the AI technology roadmap, focusing on embedded intelligence and scalable solutions.
Lead the design of AI agent frameworks, establishing standards, governance, and integration patterns.
Stay ahead of emerging AI trends, technologies, and regulations to guide responsible innovation.
Hands-On Technical Leadership
Architect and prototype solutions usingLLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines.
Lead by example in building scalable, modular AI systems integrated with cloud and microservices environments.
EstablishDataOpsandMLOpsbest practices to ensure secure, efficient model deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and experience optimization.
Mentor AI engineers, data scientists, and developers on best practices forprompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model evaluation.
Governance & Quality
Define and monitor AI performance metrics, testing frameworks, and validation processes.
Establish internal standards formodel reliability, interpretability, and fairnessacross enterprise use cases.
Requirements
8+ years in software development, including 5+ years in AI/ML (LLM/Agent experience preferred).
3+ years in a leadership role, managing AI or data-focused teams.
Proven experience deployingLLM-based or AI production systems.
Strong expertise inPythonand frameworks such asPyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain.
Hands-on experience withLLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, andvector databases(Qdrant, Pinecone, FAISS).
Solid knowledge ofdata engineering, MLOps, CI/CD, andcloud environments (AWS preferred).
Experience withREST/GraphQL APIsandmicroservice architectures.
English fluency (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
Experience withAI agent frameworks(LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, ElizaOS).
Familiarity withdata governance, privacy, and AI safetystandards.
Prior experience integrating AI features intoSaaSorindustrial platforms.
Advanced degree inComputer Science, AI/ML, or Data Science.
Portuguese proficiency (preferred but not required).
