We're looking for an experienced Director of Software Engineering to help scale a growing engineering organisation within an innovative and ambitious company.
You'll lead multiple distributed engineering teams through strong managers and technical leads, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality software that supports product innovation and business growth. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on organisational impact, helping shape engineering practices, delivery effectiveness, and the longer-term technology roadmap.
What you'll do
• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams and managers
• Translate product and business strategy into effective engineering delivery
• Drive engineering best practices across architecture, quality, testing and DevOps
• Champion Agile ways of working across distributed teams
• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture and senior stakeholders
• Help shape the organisation's long-term technical direction
What we're looking for
• Senior engineering leadership experience (Director / Head of Engineering or similar)
• Strong technical background (Python, C++, C#, or Java)
• Experience with AWS or GCP and microservices architectures
• Proven experience delivering scalable software systems
• Comfortable leading distributed teams in a remote environment
