As an Android Developer, you will create exceptional native experiences using the latest e-commerce tech stack, ensuring world-class product quality. You will collaborate with talented Android, iOS, and Quality Assurance engineers who are excellent contributors, thrive in challenging environments, and organize engaging get-togethers.
You will contribute to building an app with over 10 million downloads, featured at Google I/O 2019 Developer Keynote, and highlighted in case studies. The codebase employs Arch Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.), with a development approach focused on Kotlin, RxJava, and Coroutines, using Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
Expected travel time varies from 0% to 15%, depending on project and organizational needs.
You excel at
* Kotlin (Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus);
* Jetpack Compose (Compose Multiplatform is a plus);
* Coroutines (or RxJava);
* Software Architecture (MVVM or similar);
* Unit testing and UI testing;
* Being self-driven and working with minimal supervision towards team or company goals;
* Passion for quality and attention to detail;
* Creating fluid visual interactions and implementing mobile user experience patterns.
You are good at
* Working in small, cross-functional, feature-focused teams;
* Collaborating directly with clients to ensure technical feasibility;
* Service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures;
* Test-driven development and continuous delivery;
* Monitoring metrics, performance, and operational aspects to ensure code quality.
Your responsibilities include
* Discussing technical architecture and design;
* Developing and maintaining features in collaboration with clients;
* Writing testable code and maintaining test coverage;
* Documenting your code;
* Taking ownership from development through deployment and maintenance;
* Mentoring junior engineers;
* Diagnosing production issues and devising solutions;
* Working autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks;
* Contributing to solution design and implementation.
