We are looking for a Software Engineer focused on Back-End and Systems Integration (Java / Spring). We are expanding our team and seeking an engineer with experience in scalable systems, integrations with third‐party platforms, and modern backend development. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable integrations with third-party reservation systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested back-end code, primarily in Java and the Spring ecosystem. Work with a variety of API protocols and data formats depending on the integration target. Diagnose integration problems and create solutions, collaborating with our account management team. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in Java. Experience building or consuming APIs (REST / JSON). Pragmatic problem-solving mindset. Fluent in English. Previous experience in system integration or API-focused roles. Nice to have Experience with Spring Boot. Experience with AWS Familiarity with Docker or containerization. Experience with observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).The role is remote but candidates must be based in Portugal.
