ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly skilled and business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic multinational legal team. This position is ideal for a legal professional with a solid common law background, a proven track record in negotiating complex international contracts, and a strong interest in technology and innovation. You will play a critical role in supporting our global operations, with a focus on international commercial negotiations, navigating the telecommunications regulatory landscape, and driving corporate compliance initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex international commercial agreements, including:
* SaaS agreements
* Reseller and distribution agreements
* Licensing and partnership contracts
* Provide strategic legal advice to business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including:
* Anti-corruption laws
* Data privacy regulations
* Telecommunications regulations (a plus)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Compliance, and Product.
* Support internal compliance programs.
* Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
* Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple priorities with agility.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction.
* Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on international commercial contracts.
* Solid understanding of compliance frameworks, including anti-bribery and privacy laws.
* Experience with telecom regulatory matters is a strong plus.
* Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills in English (mandatory).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment.
