Research Opportunities
Development and validation of human sensing algorithms using data from wearable systems in the context of agricultural work
Work description
* Analyze collected data, as well as collect new data with wearable and mobile systems, and define a database for its storage.
* This data will be used to validate/improve existing signal processing and classification algorithms, as well as to develop new ones, for more comprehensive worker monitoring.
* Prepare presentations for analysis of results, participate in project events, and prepare scientific publications.
Academic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Minimum profile required
* Extensive knowledge of signal physiological processing and geographic data related to human activity and movement.
* Extensive experience in Python programming and in the use of its various toolboxes, such as BioSppy and NumPy.
Preference factors
* Previous work in physiological signal analysis and geographic data.
* Intention and availability to complete a master's thesis in a related field.
