Product Delivery Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Delivery Manager to lead the development and implementation of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, project management, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
* Develops and implements processes that embed strategic management in operational management.
* Leads the creation or review of a strategy that meets business requirements.
* Establishes policies, standards, and guidelines for strategy development and planning.
* Provides detailed advice regarding the application of specialism to planning and operations.
* Maintains knowledge in one or more identifiable specialisms.
* Recognises and identifies boundaries of own specialist knowledge.
* Collaborates with other specialists to ensure advice given is appropriate to organisational needs.
* Facilitates workgroups to deliver defined goals and outcomes.
* Supports, guides, and suggests collaborative problem solving and team performance improvement.
* Creates shared responsibilities and sustainable agreements with teams.
* Implements and improves agreed team principles, practices, processes & ceremonies.
* Works with strengths and constraints of team dynamics.
* Plans and manages resource acquisition and deployment to meet specific needs and ongoing demand.
* Defines and manages resourcing process and tool implementation.
* Advises on available options and customises resourcing approach to meet requirements.
* Ensures adherence to standards, statutory regulations, and codes of practice.
* Engages with external parties in support of resourcing plans.
* Measures effectiveness of resourcing processes and implements improvements.
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years' experience in managing products.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in managing projects or services.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in line management of product, project, or service managers.
* Product manager/product owner certification.
* Training in agile ways of working like Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, LeSS, and DaD.
* Experience in sourcing and vendor management.
