Job Description:
Be part of a project to make the world work better!
As a Scrum Master, you will help to build a new cross-functional team maintaining the biggest smart digital solutions for the Facility Management Service program at ISS. You will facilitate the Scrum and SAFe process, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes self-organization, accountability, and high performance of Agile teams.
You will be responsible for guiding team members in Agile principles, practices, and methodologies while removing impediments that hinder the team’s progress toward their goals.
Your Day-to-Day Journey at ISS Tech Portugal:
* Collaborating with Product Owner to maintain the product backlog in a way that ensures the need work is well understood.
* Helping the team to focus on definition of done for the product.
* Coaching the team, within the Scrum and SAFe principles, in order to deliver high quality features for its product.
* Coaching the team about their DoR (definition of ready) and DoD (definition of done).
* Promoting self-organization and cross-functionality within the teams.
* Facilitating team events to ensure regular progress.
What makes you a great fit:
Must-have skills:
* At least 2 years of experience with Scrum framework.
* In-depth understanding of Agile principles and practices, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
* Some level of Scrum Master certification is preferred.
* Proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking progress.
* Ability to use metrics to measure team performance and make data-driven decisions.
* Knowledge of various facilitation techniques for meetings, workshops, and team-building activities to promote engagement.
Nice to have skills:
* At least 6 – 12 months of experience with SAFe framework.
* Familiarity with software development processes and terminology to effectively communicate with development teams.
* Strong communication skills to relay information clearly and facilitate discussions among team members and stakeholders.
* Ability to inspire, guide, and empower teams.
* Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues, facilitate discussions, and guide the team toward solutions.
* Ability to encourage continuous improvement in processes and individual performance.
