On behalf of one of our clients, we're looking forSenior and Team Lead Backend Engineersto build and scale high-traffic, real-time backend systems in a modern .NET environment.These roles are full-time andcandidates need to be based in Portugal or willing to be based in Portugal.You will:Design, build, and own backend services in a microservices, event-driven architecture.Work with real-time features, asynchronous messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ/Kafka), and production-scale systems.Take features from design to production: coding, testing, monitoring, performance, and incident handling.Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and other teams in an agile, in-house product environment.Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute actively to code reviews and design discussions.Mentor other engineers and share best practices within the team.Strong professional experience in.NET/C# backend developmentSolid understanding ofmicroservices, distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, monitoring, and observability .Up-to-date knowledge ofmodern backend practices, design patterns, and system scalability .Clear, concise communication and the ability to stay on point when explaining solutions.Team Leads will additionally:Have proven,official leadership experience : running 1:1s, performance reviews, setting objectives, coaching and growing engineers.Lead delivery: prioritization, planning, risk management, and cross-team collaboration in a product company setting.Balance hands-on backend work with people leadership (roughly 50/50), ensuring quality, technical direction, and healthy team dynamics.If you're abackend-focused engineer with strong .NET experience and a track record in modern, large-scale product environments, and you're interested in Senior or Team Lead opportunities, feel free to apply!#J-18808-Ljbffr
