Job Title: Senior/ Lead Cost Manager- Data Centres
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Cost Manager to join our team in Portugal.
* Acting as the primary cost management liaison with clients and project stakeholders
* Preparing cost estimates, procurement and tendering documents, contract administration, variation and final account reports
* Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
* Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan
* Tendering and procurement activity, including managing pre-qualification stages, producing tender lists, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender reports and contractual documents
* Performing timely and accurate cost checks and valuations
* Producing monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to clients
* Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages
* Participating effectively in post-contract cost variances and change control processes
* Maintaining central feedback and learning on cost estimating from prospects and projects, contributing to updating best practices in estimating
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle. Experience of leading cost management commissions for large construction projects of high complexity is essential.
