Lead Full Stack Engineer/Tech Lead – Porto (Hybrid) €65,000 – €75,000 + package We're building a brand-new tech hub in Porto and this is a great time to get involved.
You'll be joining at an early stage, with the chance to shape not just how things are built, but how the local engineering team works and grows.
There's strong support from the wider global engineering group, but plenty of autonomy to build something meaningful locally a culture built around high standards, delivery mindset, and best practice.
There's a clear progression path in place from day one, and bonuses are tied directly to individual contribution. The benefits package is set up to support both your work and life outside of it too.
You'll have private healthcare (with the option to extend to immediate family), a monthly travel allowance, and lunch paid for on office days.
There's also a €500 annual wellness budget (that's your gym paid for anyway) and the option to work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to eight weeks each year.
A dedicated learning and development budget and structured mentorship also mean you'll have the tools and support to keep growing.
As the Tech Lead you'll guide a small, collaborative squad working across JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, MySQL and AWS. You'll stay hands-on with delivery, around a third of your time will be spent coding whilst helping to shape and embed a culture of clean code, test-driven development, and steady, reliable delivery.
You'll lead on architecture and continuous improvement, working closely with product managers, QAs, and other teams to keep things moving in the right direction.
This is a product-led environment, so there's a strong focus on incremental delivery and customer value. You'll help track key metrics, including deployment frequency and lead time, to understand how the team is performing and where improvements can be made. But more than anything, this is a chance to help build something sustainable: a supportive, high-performing culture where engineers are trusted to take ownership and solve problems together.
The role is hybrid, with 2 to 3 days a week in their Porto office. As the team grows, you'll be at the centre of it, helping define what good looks like and setting the tone for how engineering is done there.
If you're interested in shaping a high-performing engineering culture and want to be part of something from the start, we'd love to hear from you.
We're interviewing now.
