Tucked away on a small street in Arroios, Lisbon, Garrincha is a cozy restaurant and bar known for its creative dishes made with the best local ingredients and a truly special natural wine list. Our menu changes daily, led by fresh vegetables and sustainable, top-quality fish and seafood.
We're looking for a Sommelier to join us full-time, on-site at Garrincha in Arroios, Lisbon.
Garrincha is a laid-back spot with a family-style atmosphere. We work with the best ingredients we can find and keep an exciting wine list of around 150 labels, focusing mainly on natural wines.
-As Sommelier, you'll be in charge of the wine side of the restaurant: guiding guests, recommending bottles, serving wine, and driving sales. You'll also take on the role of shift manager—supporting and coordinating the floor team, keeping communication flowing with the kitchen, and making sure every service runs smoothly.
-The role also includes important back-office tasks such as scheduling, emails, inventory, Excel etc.

Qualifications
- Solid sommelier skills
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience
- Experience in wine sales and food & beverage
- Great communication skills
- A warm and relaxed approach to customer service
- Knowledge of different wines and regions, with a special love for natural wine
- Passion for wine, food and hospitality
- Sommelier certification is a plus
