Robotics Automation Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Robotics Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging your expertise in robotics and automation to drive innovation and efficiency.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and coordinating all process aspects in robotics and automation, including process diagnostics, improvement, and problem solving. You will work closely with our team to propose proof of concept for new processes or process digitalization and automation, define standard solutions for worldwide deployment, and establish process rules for automation and robotics.
You will lead industrial projects for retrofit or new equipment within the scope of robotics and automation, managing machine acceptance concerning performance and safety. Additionally, you will support Program Manufacturing Leaders and Process Engineers for new projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Master of Engineering degree (Electrotechnical, Mechatronics, Automation)
* Training in Robotics (Fanuc and Kuka preferred) and Automation (Siemens TIA Portal, STEP7 preferred)
* Industry experience, 1-2 years with robotics and automation
* Experience in equipment design and specification
* Excellent programming skills (C-sharp, VB.NET or others)
* Ability to build and follow detailed plans
