The main goal of this role will be overseeing the entire life-cycle of customer and supplier contracts, from negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring that all terms and conditions meet EID and Cohort standards and goals.Provide contractual governance in the company, according to EID's established requirements, commercial policies, and processesEnsure that contracts with domestic and international customers, suppliers and partners comply with minimum commercial and legal terms, and with the Cohort group's corporate guidelinesManage effectively contract execution through its lifecycle, from issuance of internal authorisation to contract closure, including the contractual relationshipManage (review and support) negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners of contract terms and conditions, leading to contract award and acceptance, by liaising with business development, sales, supply chain, project management teamsManage the preparation of responses to contract conditions and supporting requests for bid approvals at, both, EID and Cohort levelsFormulate and obtain internal approval for all agreements to be entered into a contract as prime or sub-contractor; Also, review and recommend inputs into all contractual commitments with customers, on behalf of EIDCollaborate with different departments to negotiate favourable terms, driving cost efficiencies without compromising quality or service levelsSupport Sales Teams to improve the turnaround time for each contract request by implementing/following best practices to accelerate the end-to-end Sales process;Act as focal point of contact for resolving contractual disputes, in a timely mannerSupport the Supply Chain team with drafts and negotiations of sub-contracts for both goods and servicesOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:Degree in Law (preferred), Business Administration, Management or similarMinimum 3 years of experience with issuing and reviewing contractual docsPrior roles within Contract Management, Procurement, or Audit functionsAbility to understand and execute contractual matters, understanding standard and non-standard requests, and proposing contractual structures and solutionsExperience in managing the end-to-end life-cycle of contracts, including negotiation, execution, and terminationExperience in bid management is valuedGood computer skills, especially with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to work accurately in Portuguese and English, both spoken and writtenCHECK IF YOU ARE/HAVE:Strong communication and collaboration skillsGood organisational skills and attention to detailProblem solving, risk management, and analytical skillsAbility to manage deadlines, work under pressure and multiple prioritiesProactive and eager to learn in a development environmentComfortable working with cross-functional teams WE OFFER:A competitive package according with your experienceA culture with emphasis on the individual, offering flexible working solutions22 vacation days plus 2 extra days fixed by the companyYour anniversary day without being at workPrivate health insuranceAlthough the advertisement is listed as full-time, we are open to accepting other working hours or even consulting/contract workEID embraces diversity and inclusion.
