CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

International (Global Role)

Headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal

Job Overview :

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will spearhead the marketing strategy for our client's international lifestyle hospitality group, specializing in serviced apartments. As they expand to several countries across Europe, the CMO will be pivotal in enhancing their brand presence, driving customer engagement, and achieving revenue growth. This role demands a dynamic leader with extensive experience in hospitality marketing and a successful track record in international markets.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
* Lead brand development and positioning efforts to establish a strong market presence and foster customer loyalty across diverse European markets.
* Conduct market research and competition analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the serviced and branded apartments sector.
* Oversee the development and implementation of creative marketing activities aiming at increasing both direct bookings in hospitality and sales of branded apartments

2. Team Management:

* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global hospitality and property sales marketing team based in Lisbon, with additional oversight of regional marketing teams across Europe.
* Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence within the marketing department.
* Ensure cohesive and synchronized marketing efforts across all markets.

3. Brand and Campaign Management:

* Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print and events.
* Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and regions.
* Measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize impact and ROI.

4. Customer Engagement:

* Enhance customer experience through personalized and targeted marketing initiatives, focusing on the unique needs of stay clients and daily guests in the client's Club Houses.
* Develop and implement strategies to build and grow the community through loyalty programs, engaging events, social gatherings, workshops with artists, designers, executive chefs, cultural activities and networking events.
* Leverage customer insights and feedback to continually refine marketing tactics.

5. Partnerships and Collaborations:

* Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships and sponsorships with other lifestyle designers and brands to enhance brand visibility and reach.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., branded apartment sales, hospitality sales, operations) to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.

6. Financial Management:

* Develop and manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
* Track and report on the ROI of marketing activities, making data-driven decisions to enhance performance.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of senior marketing leadership experience within the hospitality sector, preferably lifestyle hospitality with a strong food and entertainment activity.
* Proven success in leading international marketing initiatives and building strong brands.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing.
* Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel across Europe as required.

* Leadership: Strong team building and people management skills.
