As a
R&D Controlling Business Partner
you play a key role in enabling innovation by strengthening transparency performance and financial excellence in our R&D environment. Acting at the intersection of technology finance and strategy you work closely with cross-functional and international teams to ensure sustainable business success.
Driving Conceptual Development & Performance Management
You independently coordinate PDPI (Product Delivery Performance Indicator) controlling within a cross-functional network.
You further develop and optimize controlling concepts in your area of responsibility with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
You enhance project steering dashboards and data quality working closely with the Project Management Office(PMO) and Business Units and leveraging existing systems and processes.
Strategic Business Partnering & Challenging Insights
You act as a trusted Business Partner for central R&D functions serving as the main contact for all commercial and controlling-related topics.
You proactively challenge project assumptions and calculations particularly regarding profitability efficiency and strategic alignment.
You define track and analyze commercial OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) enabling data-driven decisions and continuous performance improvements.
Governance & Standards
You act as the governor of the R&D project calculation template ensuring alignment with central guidelines standards and best practices.
You contribute to further governance topics and support the definition of new standards within your scope of responsibility.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education:
University degree in Business Administration Industrial Engineering Finance or a comparable field ideally with a focus on Controlling or Finance.
Experience:
Several years of relevant professional experience in Controlling Finance or Business Partnering ideally within an R&D or innovation-driven environment.
Know-how:
Strong proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel PowerPoint and Power BI with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
Confident handling of SAP.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and project-based financial steering is a plus.
Working Style and Methods:
Structured analytical and solution-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
High affinity for data processes and continuous improvement.
