Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, young and technology passionate professional to join our HP Poly team.
In this role you will be trained on Poly offering, working closely with the Iberian HP Poly teams. Afterwards, you’ll be a technical reference point for questions related to this portfolio, interacting with Customers and Partners. You will be responsible for installing and demonstrating Poly solutions, including conference room technology. This role is crucial in showcasing the value and capabilities of our products, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible experience.
You will also have the opportunity to gather insights from Customers and Partners, which will be helpful to better address their needs and help to close and deploy new projects.
Responsibilities
• Develops a basic understanding of the products or services offered by the organization to communicate their features, benefits, and value proposition to potential customers, creating new business opportunities.
• Develops a basic understanding of AVs systems related with video collaboration, and also collaboration software in order to leverage Poly features, benefits, and value proposition to potential customers.
• Install and configure Poly solutions, including conference room technology, at customer and partner sites.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Poly solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and partners during the pre-sales process.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation and training materials for customers and partners.
• Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Poly solutions and gather market intelligence.
• Follows up with leads and potential customers to nurture the relationship, answer questions, and gather additional information.
• Conducts external market analysis to gather insights about the industry, competitors, and customer preferences to contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
• Collects and analyses customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, pain points, and improvement areas to enhance future deliverables.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
• Participates in training programs and gathers an understanding of product categories, business management, sales strategies, and challenges.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year Degree in Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in technical support, category management, P&L management, or a related field.
Qualifications:
Experience in a technical role, preferably with a focus on audio and video conferencing solutions.
Solid presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to travel to customer and partner sites as required.
