We are seeking an experienced Group Finance Controller to join a well-established hotel group based in Albufeira. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality finance, excellent leadership skills, and a proven record of stability and reliability in previous roles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the financial operations of multiple hotel properties within the group.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Monitor cash flow, cost control, and overall financial performance.
* Lead and mentor property-level finance teams to maintain consistency in financial standards.
* Liaise with auditors, banks, and external partners.
* Support senior management in strategic financial planning and business growth initiatives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance within the hospitality/hotel industry .
* Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting standards, and local regulations.
* Proven track record of career stability and professional integrity.
* Must be based in Albufeira or nearby areas .
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office applications.
