You'll be working closely with Android and iOS developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure mobile experiences. From setting technical direction to mentoring engineers and ensuring performance through testing and monitoring — you'll be at the core of it all. Main Tasks:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of mobile developers (Android and iOS).
- Drive the technical vision for mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable mobile architectures.
- Lead the development of complex features and functionalities.
- Ensure quality and performance through code reviews, testing, and monitoring.
- Implement security architecture principles across all mobile applications.
- Develop and execute automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end, a11y) using tools like Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality experiences.
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Provide accurate and realistic software estimations.
- Use data to drive decision-making and analyze app performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mobile development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. Skills & Requirements:
- Solid experience building and maintaining mobile applications (Android and iOS).
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of mobile application security principles.
- Proven experience with automated testing (Playwright):
unit, integration, end-to-end, and a11y.
- Strong software development best practices mindset, with openness to new ideas.
- Experience in large-scale applications and collaborative team environments.
- Experience leading or owning the development of mobile applications.
- Ability to estimate software realistically in complex scenarios.
- Proficiency in using tools to measure application performance and user behavior.
- Experience releasing apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
