Position SummaryThe Regional Director of Sales is responsible for leading, developing, and executing sales strategies across a portfolio of hospitality properties managed by United Hospitality Management.
This role drives top-line revenue performance by overseeing regional sales teams, cultivating key accounts, expanding market presence, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic sales leader with deep hospitality experience, strong market knowledge, and a proven ability to drive results across multiple properties and markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales LeadershipDevelop and implement regional sales strategies to maximize room revenue, group business, corporate accounts, and ancillary revenue streamsAlign regional sales initiatives with United Hospitality Management's overall commercial and brand strategyAnalyze market trends, competitive set performance, and demand drivers to identify growth opportunitiesRevenue Growth & Performance ManagementAchieve and exceed regional sales targets, budgets, and KPIsCollaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and promotional strategiesMonitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipelines, ensuring accountability and resultsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop Directors of Sales and on-property sales teams across the regionEstablish performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and trainingFoster a high-performance, collaborative sales cultureKey Account & Relationship ManagementMaintain and grow relationships with major corporate, group, travel trade, and strategic accountsRepresent United Hospitality Management at industry events, trade shows, and client meetingsNegotiate and oversee regional and national sales agreementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiativesSupport new hotel openings, transitions, and rebranding efforts within the regionEnsure consistent sales processes, reporting, and CRM usage across propertiesReporting & CompliancePrepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to senior leadershipEnsure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and ethical sales practices Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)8–12+ years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industryMinimum of 3–5 years in a multi-property or regional sales leadership roleProven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teamsStrong knowledge of hotel sales, group and corporate segments, and market analyticsProficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Key CompetenciesStrategic thinking and commercial acumenStrong leadership, coaching, and people-development skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesResults-driven with strong analytical and forecasting capabilitiesAbility to travel frequently and manage multiple priorities across locations What United Hospitality Management OffersCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesOpportunity to lead sales strategy across a diverse hospitality portfolioCollaborative leadership environment with growth potentialTravel and professional development opportunities
