This role is responsible for end-to-end Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring accurate processing, timely collections, and compliance with internal controls. The position operates in a shared services environment with a strong focus on process standardization, continuous improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Operations:
Ensure accurate processing of receivables, customer payments, reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities in line with defined procedures;
Collections & Dispute Management:
Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on payments, and investigate and resolve unapplied items or customer discrepancies;
Financial Control & Reporting:
Prepare standard AR reports, perform sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations, and support audit requests;
Process Compliance & Improvement:
Execute AR processes in ERP systems, ensure compliance with internal procedures, and contribute to process improvements;
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, acting as a point of contact and supporting effective communication within a shared services environment.
Profile
Academic Background & Experience:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Economics (nice to have), with 1+ year of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role;
Technical Skills:
Solid knowledge of SAP, accounting principles, Accounts Receivable processes, and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
Communication & Languages:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and French (minimum B2 level).
Soft Skills & Team Contribution:
Proactive, well-organized, and comfortable working in a process-driven, international environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
