Senior B2B Travel Agent Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior B2B Travel Agent to join our team in Portugal. As a key member of our customer service organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to travelers and ensuring their journeys run smoothly.
Our ideal candidate has native or fluent German skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent communication skills. They should have previous experience in customer service roles, preferably covering travel and hotel segments, and be proficient in using tools like Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting travelers with best-in-class personalized support
* Solving issues related to travel or technology assistance, from standard queries to last-minute emergency situations
* Staying up-to-date with travel industry knowledge and platform expertise to deliver unparalleled service and support the company's success
* Building meaningful relationships across global teams
* Providing feedback to product and engineering teams for product improvement
* Meeting and exceeding KPIs
Requirements:
* Native or fluent German skills, both oral and written
* Fluent English (B2 or higher)
* Previous experience in customer service roles, preferably covering travel and hotel segments
* Mandatory experience working with GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo)
* Metrics-driven mindset as an indicator and motivator of success
* Excellent communication skills, creating personalized verbal and written communication
* A team player who thrives in collaboration, giving and receiving feedback, and lifting others up
* Proficiency in using tools like Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce, as well as our unique travel customer service platform
* Flexibility to work non-traditional shifts (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends) as we scale our support organization
