We are seeking, for an important customer operating in financial trading sector, a dedicated and dynamic Business Service Desk Operator to join our team. As we embark on our mission to digitize the London Market and streamline placement processes, we need a proficient professional to support end-users in utilizing an highly performant trading and risk management platform.
This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations across various activities managed by the platform, including trading, intra-day risk, capital adequacy and automated broker/underwriter.

What will be your responsibilities?
* Provide exceptional support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the trading and risk management platform.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the platform, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
* Conduct user training sessions to enhance user proficiency and adoption of the platform's functionalities.
* Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues before they impact users.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of user issues and resolutions, contributing to the knowledge base.
* Work closely with development teams to communicate user feedback and participate in platform improvement initiatives.
* Assist with integrating the platform with other third-party applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Previous experience in a service desk or technical support role, preferably within a trading or risk management environment.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
* A proactive approach to supporting end-users and enhancing their experience.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and across departments.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
* Strong understanding of low-code platforms and their application logic is a plus.
Education & Experience:
* University degree in science or economics
