Business Development Representative - DACH
Own the Top of the Funnel -- Cold Calling & Outbound Sales

As aBusiness Development Representative (BDR)at Autobahn Security, you are at the forefront of our growth in the DACH region.
Your role is all aboutoutbound sales—90%of your activities will focus on identifying, reaching out to, and engaging with new potential customers.
You own the top-of-funnel sales process, working closely with an Account Executive (1:
1 ratio) to generate high-quality leads and set up sales opportunities.
If you are a natural communicator, a cold-calling expert, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach—you're comfortable making high-volume outbound calls to engage potential customers.
Prospecting—identify and contact key decision-makers (CISOs, CTOs, IT Security Leads) across multiple channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
Outbound-focus—90%of your efforts are proactive outreach, with 10% handling inbound leads.
Qualify leads effectively, identifying key needs and ensuring alignment before handing them off to the Account Executive.
Work hand-in-hand with your AE, refining messaging and continuously improving outreach strategies.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM (HubSpot or similar).
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in SaaS or cybersecurity.
Proven cold-calling expertise—you enjoy picking up the phone and know how to handle objections.
Highly self-motivated and proactive—you take initiative, work independently, and don't wait for leads.
Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior decision-makers.
Native-level skills in German and fluent in English is required.
Familiarity with sales tools (e.G., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar CRM systems) is a plus.
