POSITION OVERVIEWUnited Hospitality Management (UHM) is seeking a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Manager to join the Marketing team.
This individual will play a key role in driving online sales for Serenity – The Art of Well Being, an award-winning spa brand within UHM's portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in e-commerce management, digital marketing, and sales support, with a passion for the wellness and cosmetic industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy for Serenity, aligned with overall business objectives and brand standards.Manage the website to ensure it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional, overseeing web development, design, and content updates.Curate and organize product listings, optimize customer experience, and address inquiries to improve satisfaction and retention.Implement digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, PPC, affiliate marketing) to increase traffic, engagement, and sales.Optimize product pages for SEO, improve conversion rates, and utilize upselling/cross-selling strategies.Manage relationships with third-party suppliers such as shipping carriers, payment processors, and software providers, including negotiations and issue resolution.Ensure accurate inventory management and product categorization.Monitor KPIs like website traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, using data analytics to inform decisions.Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies, recommending continuous improvements.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in wellness, cosmetics, hospitality, or luxury retail sectors.Proven success in driving online sales and revenue through digital marketing initiatives.Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) and CMS (WordPress).Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Creative, innovative, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are preferred.Fluency in Portuguese and English.This position is based at Hyatt Regency Lisbon (mandatory).
