Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
In this role, you will act as a Local Buyer for IT Software and Hardware, and other indirect spend and catalog buying, supporting the global category manager.
* Take responsibility for a medium-to-large purchasing volume for products and services in Central Services in IT (software, hardware, etc.)
* Manage local demand for IT products and services, supporting global category managers through projects and RFQs
* Negotiate terms and conditions for locally accounted commodities
* Define and monitor KPIs, including cost reduction targets, and regularly report on negotiation outcomes
* Establish and maintain framework agreements, such as master agreements, for designated commodity groups
* Conduct annual supplier evaluations to ensure performance consistency and alignment with procurement objectives
* Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner to align procurement strategies and achieve mutually beneficial results
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
You are a results-driven professional with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. You are a true team player, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-regional environments. You have a proactive problem-solving mindset, with a strong focus on achieving goals and supporting innovation.
* A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, preferably in an international environment
* Strong knowledge of procurement principles and concepts, with proven negotiation skills
* Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and market analysis to drive innovation and cost optimization
* Fluency in English (mandatory) - German is a plus
