Role Summary King's College School, Cascais, part of the prestigious Inspired Education Group, offers a global education through the Cambridge International curriculum up to Year 10, supported by a bilingual Portuguese–English programme up to Year 5. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly effective Bilingual Primary Teacher to join our Primary School, delivering high‐quality teaching and inspiring students in Year 5. The successful candidate will provide engaging, well‐structured lessons across the primary curriculum, fostering a love of learning and supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high‐quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum, ensuring progression in students' learning. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development. Assess, monitor, and record student progress, using data to inform planning and differentiated instruction. Support the development of critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning in all students. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and wellbeing. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and whole‐school initiatives. Contribute to the pastoral life of the school, promoting student wellbeing and positive behaviour. Ideal Candidate Will Have Hold a recognised teaching qualification with experience teaching Primary students. Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, well‐structured lessons. Have a high level of English proficiency, with excellent communication skills. Show a commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive teaching practices. Be a collaborative, proactive professional, willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
