Call for expressions of interest: FAIR Implementation and Data Stewardship SupportCiiEM, the Egas Moniz Center for Interdisciplinary Research, is a unit of the Portuguese R&D system that fosters innovation under a One Health approach, in close collaboration with academic, clinical and community stakeholders.CiiEM seeks to engage a national or international professional to provide FAIR and Data Stewardship support on a retainer contract basis. The aim is to strengthen the Centre's capacity to implement FAIR data practices, support compliant and responsible research data management, and contribute to the development of an institutional Data Management Office.Scope of WorkSupport the implementation of CiiEM's FAIRification process across the research lifecycle;Advise onresearch data management practices in alignment with FAIR principles, Open Science, and applicable legal and ethical requirements;Contribute to the development of governance documents, workflows, and guidance materials for the Data Management Office;Support the preparation and review of Data Management Plans, including alignment with FCT requirements and the ARGOS/OpenAIRE framework;Provide technical and strategic input on solutions for storing, managing and sharing research data, including repository options compliant with recognised standards;Liaise, as needed, with researchers, IT staff, the Data Protection Officer, and members of the Ethics Committee to support integrated data stewardship practices;Contribute to internal capacity building through training, practical guidance, and support materials on FAIR, GDPR, and good data management practice.Profile Relevant Candidates Will Have Demonstrated Experience In Research Data Management, FAIR Implementation, Or Data Stewardship, Particularly In Academic Or Research Settings, WithStrong knowledge of FAIR principles and Open Science practices;Familiarity with Data Management Plans, repository selection, metadata standards, and data governance frameworks;Understanding of legal and ethical aspects of research data management, including GDPR-related considerations;Experience working with researchers and institutional stakeholders in interdisciplinary environments;Strong advisory, training and communication skills;Excellentcommand of English, spoken and written.Experience with national and international FAIR and Open Science initiatives, including OpenAIRE, ARGOS, FAIRsharing, or related infrastructures, will be valued.Contract TypeRetainer contract ("avença");6-month duration, renewable;Estimatedstartdate: May ****;Financialtermsto be agreed post-shortlisting.Application Process Submit the following by the 10th April ****via email to ******:A proposal (max. 3 pages) outlining services offered, relevant experience, and availability;CV (max. 3 pages)Diversity and Inclusion Egas Moniz is committed to diversity and equal opportunities, in accordance with our plan for diversity, equity and inclusion.#J-18808-Ljbffr
