No Offer DescriptionThe NOVA National School of Public Health, NOVA University Lisbon, has opened an offer position for 1 Research Fellowship, within the Comprehensive Health Research Centre (CHRC), with the reference UID/*********, funded by national funds through the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia – FCT/MCTES, Pluriannual Financing of R&D Units **********, under the following conditions: Scientific area: Management sciences or psychological sciences Admission requirements: Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Psychology, or related fields;
Excellent communicationskills and proficiency in written and spoken Portuguese and English.
Preferential factors: Strong user-level command of computer tools (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures;
Knowledge of the healthcare sector and/or higher education;
Analytical skills, sense of responsibility, accuracy, and critical thinking;
Creativity, strong timemanagement, organization of deadlines and priorities;
Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and proactivity.
Work plan: Provide technical and administrative support for human resources activities within the scope of the CHRC;
Ensure recruitment and hiring procedures for research fellows and researchers, as well as their renewal and termination processes;
Provide support and necessary clarifications, as well as make available all relevant information related to research;
Assist faculty members,researchers, and research fellows with travel and missions related to their research projects, ensuring the registration, follow-up, and validation of all associated documentation;
Support attendance management, as well as health and safety procedures;
Ensure the processing and analysis of human resources statistical data related to institutional research activity indicators;
Prepare and update administrative workflows and procedures related to R&D activities;
Promote initiatives that support the onboarding, integration, and well-being of faculty members, researchers, and research fellows.
Workplace and scientific supervision:The work will be carried out at NOVA National School of Public Health, NOVA University Lisbon, under the scientific supervision of Professor Sónia Dias.
Duration of the Research Fellowship(s):the duration of the research fellowship(s) will be for 12 months, starting in april **** and can be renewed up to the maximum provided for in the Research Fellowship Regulations of Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I. P. Monthly maintenance allowance: The amount of the fellowship ****,98 € (may have a higher value, according to the technical and scientific skills demonstrated), according to the values for research fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal.
In addition to this amount, there is the payment of personal accident insurance and the payment of voluntary social security.
Selection methods:The selection methods will be the following: Curriculum evaluation (100%) in case there is no need for an interview.
If an interview is considered necessary, both components will be weighted: Curriculum evaluation (70%) and interview (30%).
