Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled textile designer to join our design team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textiles and fabric construction, with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct market trend analysis and develop custom designs for home textiles
* Create comprehensive mood boards and presentations for internal teams and clients
* Design and release textile specifications and production-ready packages
* PARTNER WITH SUPPLIERS TO DEVELOP FABRICS THAT MEET DESIGN INTENT AND QUALITY STANDARDS
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree in Textile Design or related field
* 3–5 years' experience in home textiles, fashion textiles, or related categories
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
